Dear Dick-

It’s been a little over two weeks since I got my engagement ring and I wanted to let you know the comments my ring has received.
 
My dearest friend, Katherine, refers to it as “spectacular”. I’m so glad she urged me to go over two carats! The waiter at our engagement dinner called it “stunning”. I happened to be browsing in a local jewelry store here in Green Bay (would never purchase here!) and the jewelry store salesperson said my ring was “absolutely breathtaking”. I’ve heard several versions of “holy cow”, “holy moly”, and “holy s---!” But the hands-down winner and spoken most often is “oh, my god!”
 
In any event, Dick, thank you for your patience and kindness and for finding the most perfect ring I have ever seen or could have hoped for!
